Analysis:
From the demographic profile, we considered that the audience for our music video would be both male and female, therefore we asked an equal split of males and females to ensure fairness. However, when it came to considering the age range of our demographic, we chose to focus our questionnaire towards 15-17 year olds, as this is what we believe the majority of the age range of our target audience to be. As can be seen from the results, Pink and Paramore were the highest scoring for most popular artists, reflecting that female pop/rock is popular within our demographic. This can be reflected in question 4, as both of the artists are known for attracting fans to concerts and both perform live, as opposed to lip syncing.
Its clear from our results that the majority of people in our demographic choose to download music, perhaps because it is easier to access then buying CDs from a shop, and can be immediately put into devices such as Ipods. We played our target audience an extract from our chosen song (Veruca Salt - Straight), and from this we asked for what they would expect to conventionally appear in the video. It is clear that a performance aspect is crucial in a rock video, conforming to the conventions of rock music videos. However, it is clear our band will be considered in a niche market, as less people opted for liking all-female bands. This could work to our advantage as it allows us to create a music video which is less mainstream and more unique.

Audience Profile
Stereotypical demographic for the band:
Split between male and female: Females would be attracted towards the band as they represent a female empowerment and are icons of female leadership. The music in itself could be described as strong and masculine, and they have proved themselves to be as 'strong' as male musicians. This representation of females being 'rock chicks', would also attract men due to their provocative but feminist approach.
Age: Attracted towards an older teenage market (content could be related to more easily), due to the aspects of rebellion stereotypically reflecting 'youth'. Younger audiences may also be attracted towards the band as they are an example of a unity, reflecting ideas of friendship which can be easily related to with younger audiences.
Music: The music is not commercial pop, so may also attract audiences with musical tastes in the genres of metal and rock, as well as people who listen to commercial music, as the band are promoted as a commercial band, in the sense of a stereotypical 4 person all girl band. Technologically able, more likely to download music (either through Itunes, or illegally).
Lifestyle: Working class or upper working class, like to think of themselves as individual, spend a lot of time going out and having fun, go to concerts regularly, may be musicians themselves (an instrument of that particular genre: guitar, drums, bass, vocals etc), alongside that may be in a band, generally extensive knowledge of music in that genre.
Race: Most likely be white, American, European, British.
Appearance: Hair and make up co-inside with stereotypes of the genre (heavy eye make up). May have piercings, or like the idea of them. Not necessarily into 'labels' or branded clothes, or fashion, but tend to take their style from music influences.

Interscope
We decided for our band to be signed to Universal Records through Interscope, as Interscope has many difering artists signed to the label, for example Marilyn Manson and the Pussycat Dolls. This shows that Interscope cater for a variety of artists, we thuoght that our band would fit in well as the overall product overlaps many different genres and markets.
